The first reactions from fans came from the two walkouts. Fury emerged first to the song “Barbie Girl,” which was met with humour. Usyk followed, dressed as video game character Agent 47 from Hitman.

Both fighters remained tight-lipped throughout, offering only short, one-word answers. For Usyk this is the norm in his press conferences, but Fury in jest, matched it. Neither commented on their previous fight or discussed their strategies for the rematch. Although Fury has previously hinted at a more aggressive approach, he gave nothing away during the event.

The highlight of the night was when Usyk revealed the contents of his briefcase: a photo of himself delivering a blow to Fury in their last fight. Usyk asked Fury to sign the picture, which Fury did, joking, “I look like Shrek.”

Another moment that caught social media attention was when Fury appeared to tickle Usyk during the face-off. While Usyk didn’t react, fans found humour in the exchange and speculated on Fury’s mind games.

The main takeaway from fans’ reactions on social media is the clear respect both fighters have for each other. This was highlighted during the press conference, where both fighters, having already faced each other once, are heading into this fight fully focused on securing the title, rather than engaging in any real bad blood.

The fight will be streamed in the UK on pay-per-view through DAZN, Sky Sports, and TNT Sports, with the price expected to be between £19 and £20.
