Breaking: Jack Catterall vs Regis Prograis Weigh In Details

The weigh in for the Jack Catterall vs Regis Prograi has taken place and the fighters have said their final words ahead of the bout.

Catterall has come in bang on the 140lb limit, and Prograis has tipped in at 139.7lb.

Speaking to DAZN, Jack Catterall said “Every fight is a big fight, a step closer to a world title. Regis has had his time in the sun – it’s my time now.”

When interviewed, Prograis said “I’m ready, I’m excited, stupid excited,” said the New Orleans native. “I’ve been calm and confident all week. Now I’m ready to go. Everything hinges on this, I’m ready, that’s why I took this challenge.”

The crowd was strongly behind the local lad, interrupting Prograis’ interview with loud shouts of “Chorley, Chorley”, a reference of home town support for Catterall.

Both men seem calm and confident ahead of the fight, and despite the bookies heavily favouring Jack Catterall, Regis Prograis was relaxed and confident when talking to the media. He’s experienced, he’s been at this level before and he’s used to being the away fighter in a title bout. Whilst the odds are against him, he’s determined to cause an upset on Saturday night.

This is a great fight, with a lot on the line. Eddie Hearn has promised that the winner of this fight will face the winner of the Liam Paro vs Richardson Hitchins IBF title fight, which is scheduled for December 7th. Given Matchroom promote all four fighters, it’s an easy fight to make.

The talk is over, now it’s time for business…
