“YOU TOSS POT!” Frank Warren Rages at Usyk Fury 2 Press Conference
Tyson Fury has stopped every opponent he’s ever rematched which puts him in good stead ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk for the World Heavyweight Championship in December, according to promoter Frank Warren.
Speaking with Hook’d Boxing, Warren had just stepped off the stage in a largely subdued affair in the rematch press conference.
The attire and entrances captured the attention during the conference, with Warren referring to Usyk as looking ‘like a Bond villain’, the Ukranian entering as Agent 47 from The Hitman franchise.
“We’ve never seen him lose a fight before, so we’ve never seen him react to a loss, but he’s well up for it!” said Warren. “I do know he’s knocked everyone out in rematches though!”
Warren also took the time to pick up on his ongoing dispute with Boxxer promoter Ben Shalom, using the term ‘tosspot’ when speaking about, though not directly aiming the shot at the promoter.
Usyk Fury 2 is the Heavyweight showdown to close out the year and is part of Riyadh Serason, in Saudi Arabia on Dec 21.
